Promoting positive relationships with our food, our bodies, our community.
hi, i’m mary!
Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, Culinary Educator, and “Farmstop Dietitian”
Food is more than what’s on the plate.
It’s a way to connect with others, learn about the world, and build community. Food is a powerful tool for personal expression, joy, cultural connection, and positive change.
my mission
My mission is to promote positive relationships with our food, our bodies, our community.
My work is centered on eating disorder prevention, community nutrition eduction, and local food systems.‍ ‍
My ongoing goal is to research, question, explore, and teach about food from many angles, in order to deepen my understanding of “health and wellness”, as it pertains to the individual and the collective.
Which is definitely complicated. Health is impacted by so many things! (The Social Determinants of health are pictured here.)
